Meet Helen

My journey started from a little investment on a 1 day lash course, not realising where it would take me.

After my first lash course, I practised on friends and family. Word spread, but social media wasn’t the place to advertise back then, so I put an advert in a local magazine. The first new client who booked from it is still with me today!

As a mum of three, I built my lash business around family life and later moved into teaching. I met students who had finished courses feeling unsure and unsupported. I wanted to do things differently, so I started HI Lashes Training Academy in 2013.

I’ll teach you the foundations, give you honest feedback and support you as you practise. You can ask questions without feeling silly — we all start somewhere.

Lashes gave me control over my time. They allowed me to work around my life instead of constantly trying to fit my life around work. I built my own client base, created my own income, and gained a level of confidence I never had before.

My courses are designed for complete beginners. You don’t need any background in beauty. You don’t need to be “naturally good”. You just need to be willing to learn and give yourself time to improve.

You’ll be guided step by step, focusing on building strong foundations first. Because when you learn properly, your speed, confidence, and results naturally follow. That’s how you create beautiful sets and loyal clients who keep coming back.
